Lunchtime menu was on the pricey side - just shy of 23 for an eggs royale and two soft drinks (we had a two for one voucher fortunately) and there didn't seem to be quite the bustle over getting food served compared to other places in the city where they know most people only have an hour. Nice location and a stylish place, but just be aware to specify if you are on a tight lunch schedule.
It's a shame really because I went here twice over the course of a weekend. They food was excellent and the service was second to none on the first day. On the Sunday of the eight items ordered five of them were wrong and two of them were simple coffee orders. It was busier on the Sat when everything was perfect, shame Sunday let the experience as a whole down. The ambience is nice and the staff are very helpful even if a couple seemed to be miles aways and thus getting our orders wrong. I will go back to try once more, maybe at a bills somewhere else in the country.
Excellent Restaurant with great food. We had a party of 8 for a birthday and it was a great night. Food came out with no issues and the staff were very accommodating
Lovely atmosphere, great pancakes and coffee. Very good service and variety of dishes. Nice for families and group brunches. Can do with some more chicken / beef breakfast options for halal eaters ( plenty of them around) .
Bill's is fine, an interesting menu, a cut above average pub stuff. The staff always seem happy and take care to check things are fine. This manifestation of Bill's is easy to find, generally not too busy and has a seating area outside. (Although sitting out on John Dalton Street isn't my idea of fun).Try the vegan Beef Wellington or the smoky ribs, both really good.
