This place is amazing! I have not had a bad dish here which just goes to show that they source quality fresh ingredients. Giovanni is a gentleman and provides IMO the best service in Manchester. I last visited a couple of days ago and had the beef ravioli... amazingly rich in flavour! Ive visited almost all of the Italians in Manchester and this is the best. What it may lack in decor it more than makes up in service and food!
Well what can I say. I messed our booking up. Thought I had booked it for 7pm but actually booked it for 5pm but Salvi's took it in their stride (after a short pause) and accommodated us at 7pm. Oh, and we added an extra person at the last minute (8 in total). The restaurant was busy (a Thursday night) but they took great care of us. The food was excellent. Really good, tasty Italian food. Watch yourself on the portion sizes, they are generous. We ordered too much so couldn't quite do it justice. Will definitely be back.
People are 4 times more likely to express their dissatisfaction than say a good word. Food was really good but service.. Definitely unusual. We have visited this little restaurant a few times and the owner always welcomed us with a big smile.Last time me and my boyfriend went to Salvis we were served by the male waiter. Nothing wrong about it, except one little thing. The entire time at the restaurant he didn't acknowledged my existence when he came to take drinks order he asked: 'what would you like to drink sir?', he did same with food order. Quite unusual for Italian service but OK I probably wouldn't say anything. But when I went to the toilet he approached my boyfriend and asked him for a phone number this is one of the most bizarre experiences we had
Such an amazing restaurant this is with all of the pizza being made from scratch and all fresh. The staff are friendly and polite. Great choice of food on the menu and good offerings of beverages. Furniture is comfortable and decor is modern.
This is the best sharing board in Manchester. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food delicious and fresh. You can see in the kitchen , it's immaculate. This place has a great atmosphere, you feel like family.
